Jensen Machine Company in Newington, Connecticut, was founded in 1946 and has provided reliable machining services to various industries in the New England region for more than a half-century. Over the years, Terry was bought by Ingersoll-Rand, then became Turbodyne, and now Dresser-Rand. Throughout these transitions, Jensen Machine continued to produce quality bearings and now makes many of the Terry, Worthington, and Dresser-Rand design babbitted bearings and parts exclusively for Dresser-Rand. Employee turnover is almost non-existent at Jensen Machine. It's the kind of job security that is unheard of in today's business world. Why mention this? Two reasons.
