The Karis Community is a nonprofit organization that has been providing mental health services for the residents of Denver since 1976. It provides transitional community living opportunities for individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. The agency offers residential living program for men and women. It focuses on restoring basic life skills and improving social well-being of individuals. The Karis Community maintains a team of social workers, private therapists, psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as former residents and family members.
