HistoryWhile still practicing chiropractic on humans in Menasha, Wisconsin, I had the occasion to buy an Old English Sheepdog. The breeder recommended that I stay with her veterinarian, Dr. Randy at Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic, Neenah, WI. I interviewed Dr.Randy and how he treats dogs. When done, He turned the table and asked If I would like to treat animals at his clinic. Yes, was my first reaction but then I realized I needed some training on treating animals with chiropractic methods. I received the necessary training and became certified in 2000 to treat animals. For the next 16 years, I worked part time at their clinic while continuing to treat my human patients. In 2015, I moved to Colorado, was licensed and re-certified in animal chiropractic which started my animal chiropractic practice.SpecialtiesDr. Richard Habighorst is a mobile, certified animal chiropractor helping cats dogs, horses and alpacas in Boulder & Broomfield counties.
