The Lone Tree Recreation Center is a fitness facility that serves youths, adults and children in the state of Colorado. It conducts a range of training classes in yoga and martial arts. The center also provides weight training and swimming lessons, as well as organizes fitness and wellness programs. In addition, the Lone Tree Recreation Center conducts cultural arts and instructional racquetball classes. It features a gymnasium, fitness studio, catering kitchen, cardio theatre, aquatics area, running tracks, changing rooms and racquetball courts. The Lone Tree Recreation Center owns and manages stair steppers, upright cycles, recumbent bikes, treadmills, rowing machines, and circuit and cardiovascular equipment. Established in 1959, the Foothills Park & Recreation District offers a variety of entertainment opportunities for people of all ages. Its facilities include sports arenas, parks, athletic complexes and golf courses. The district offers space for organizing various events, such as weddings, birthdays, business meetings, church functions, family reunions, holiday events, picnics, rehearsal dinners and seminars. It manages more than 70 park sites and over 14 conservation areas. The district organizes camps that include a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball. It conducts dance, music and drama classes for teenagers and youths. The district offers personal training programs and nutritional counseling services. It provides before- and after-school programs for children. The district offers swimming and golf instructional lessons, as well as provides pottery and drawing classes.
