VOA the Mission

Volunteers of America's oldest program in Colorado, The Mission, is a daytime shelter in Denver that provides individuals experiencing homelessness with essential services such as food, clothing, job training, employment assistance, and spiritual guidance. It offers a safe place for relaxation and refreshment, along with an interdenominational church service to uplift and meet the spiritual needs of those with little hope.

With a mission to support the downtrodden, The Mission served 63,551 meals to individuals in need last year, making a significant impact in addressing hunger and homelessness in Colorado. As a designated tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Volunteers of America ensures that contributions to The Mission are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
