HistoryFounded by Jerry Kittle after a 1954 car accident left him paralyzed from the chest down. Jerry designed Hand Controls for himself to be able to drive & access life and care for his wife and 6 month old daughter. Others patients in rehab asked him to design equipment for them, tailoring equipment to their specific needs. In time, Jerry designed a full range of products for driving and loading adaptation for vehicles, evolving from the old platform style lift to his more versatile design, Superarm lift. Jerry's daughter Geraldine and Son in-law Donovan worked with and eventually took over the business as owners before Jerry passed away in 1999.
