Trails Recreation Center

The Trails Recreation Center offers a variety of martial arts, aquatics, athletics, leisure, and fitness and wellness programs. It administers the Silver Sneakers program, which is one of the United States leading fitness programs for older adults. The center also provides a nutritional counseling program. The Trails Recreation Center s amenities include cardiovascular equipment, free weights, group fitness studio, racquetball and wallyball courts, running track, climbing tower and an aerobics room. It operates an 18,000-square-foot aquatics area that features a lap pool, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and water slides. The center provides a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, volleyball, climbing and gymnastics. Additionally, it maintains a pro shop that sells a range of sweatshirts, goggles and towels. The center is operated by the Arapahoe Park and Recreation District (APRD), which was formed in 1982. The Trails Recreation Center is located in Centennial, Colo.
