So after backpacking the Wheeler Geological area we was Hangry. There is nothing around this area but a 30-40 minute drive from the trailhead is Tomichi Creek Trading Post...and you know...

Stop on our drive home. Nice stop with homemade ice cream available. A restaurant inside with seating. Showers and restrooms. You can get gas or propane too. Clean and neat. The convenience store...

The food and service were stellar. My kids loved the food and they are picky eaters. My son's eyes almost popped from his head when he was served his giant hotdog. Get the chips they are awesome....

Best food in the region. Great hometown staff and service with classic road stop feel.

GREAT STOP! Feels like home, and not a pit stop. The friendliest staff. Clean bathrooms, restaurant, and little merch/ souvenir shop. Food was pretty good, a little pricey. Highly recommend.
