History
The Family Room first opened it's doors in April of 2014. But the founder Patience Bleskan has been in practice providing parenting support and education since 2002. The original location was located in South Denver near Washington Park. But after the sale of the building the business was in, The Family Room relocated to Wheat Ridge. The new location opened in September 2015.
Specialties
The Family Room provides groups, classes and support for families from expecting a new baby, to infants, toddlers and preschool age children. There are play groups, mommy and me classes, prenatal and postpartum fitness classes. The Family Room also specializes in developmentally and evidence based parenting classes for discipline, potty training, and sibling relationships. The Family Room is also the home to Patience Bleskan, Colorado's most knowledgable and experienced Early Childhood Sleep Consultant.
