The Arc of Aurora

Envision is the designated community centered board serving Weld County and is operated as a nonprofit organization and is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the persons served, their families, and the citizens of Weld County. Envision provides services that assist children, adults, and families who have a person with a developmental delay or disability and is one of the largest human services organizations in Northern Colorado. Envision's mission is to enhance the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities in Weld County. Envision assists about 1000 Weld County residents and their families annually and strives to meet the needs of each individual, regardless of age or developmental disability.

The Focus Points Family Resource Center is a nonprofit organization that provides family-literacy programs for children. It offers parenting tips and conducts workshops. The organization provides early childhood intervention educational programs for more than 150 families. The Focus Points Family Resource Center helps children in identifying shapes, colors and letters. It serves over 100 children annually. The organization also offers educational classes for adults that help in increasing their basic education and preparing them to earn high diploma and degree programs. The Focus Points Family Resource Center provides learning opportunities in mathematics, reading and writing. Its life skills curriculum enables individuals to engage in positive community activities. The organization is located in Denver.
