Terri Schmitt, DPM, is originally from Indiana. She earned a bachelor's degree in Miami, Florida followed by her medical degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Following her education, she moved to Merrillville, Indiana to complete a residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana.Dr. Schmitt feels it is an honor to provide specialized medical and surgical foot care to her patients and to listen to their individual needs. Every patient is unique, and thus she strives to provide a treatment plan that is best suited for that person's particular circumstances. Educating the patient regarding their diagnosis, long-term expectations and risks versus benefits of reasonable treatment options is very important in the shared decision making process.As a board certified Podiatrist, Dr. Schmitt enjoys providing care to individuals with a variety of foot and ankle problems. She is passionate about resolving painful foot conditions for her patients. When she is not at work, Dr. Schmitt enjoys mountain and road biking, hiking the mountains and canyons, as well as river rafting.

Originally from Naples, New York, Dr. Treadwell earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and Secondary Education, followed by six years of teaching high school maths and sciences in Miami, Florida. He went on to earn his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a Naval Health Professions Scholarship. After completing his active duty service with a helicopter squadron in Norfolk, Virginia, LCDR Treadwell and family moved to York, Pennsylvania, to complete a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Memorial Hospital. Following his residency program, he completed two years of fellowship training to specialize in Hand and Upper Extremity surgery in Roanoke, Virginia and Louisville, Kentucky, respectively.Dr. Treadwell always loved teaching dissection labs to his students and wanted to pursue a career where he could use this love of detail in living organisms to help bring healing to hurting people. As an orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon, he enjoys being a tool in the healing process where someone has suffered injury or needs medical intervention. He is passionate about the intricacies of the hand and upper extremity and about connecting with his patients. Making treatment decisions with the patient that brings about the best outcome for his/her individual lifestyle is of utmost importance to Dr. Treadwell.When he is not at work, Dr. Treadwell enjoys time with his wife and four children, traveling, exercising at the local gym, running, skiing, hiking and biking, reading Scripture and learning about stock market trends.
