History
Ever since I can remember, I loved design. I remember when I was about 10, I would fight with my sister over watching HGTV instead of Food Network. I would get sample chips of countertops and paint from Home Depot and draw up different houses, telling my sister she would have to decide which house to buy. As I got into my early teenage years and got my hands on some graph paper, I spend lots of time planning on how to rearrange furniture. Skip ahead quite a few years and here I am! I followed my desire to become a teacher, and did that for a few years before deciding that I wanted to be more creative in my endeavors. Soon I will finish my degree in Interior Design, and while it has been a challenge, I can say I truly enjoy every aspect of it. Previously being a teacher has helped me to be able to properly explain subjects to people, as well as other life skills. I was an In-Home Color Consultant for about 2 years, doing over 300 consultations for people needing color assistance.
