Dr. Michael is originally from Chicago, where he graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in 2003. He completed his Family Medicine residency training with the University of Chicago and went on to complete fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine.As a Board Certified Family Physician, Dr. Michael enjoys the opportunity to see patients of all ages and provide care for entire families, including a particular interest in Mens Health. With specialized Sports Medicine training, he can treat acute injuries such as fractures and sprains along with chronic and overuse injuries, including providing therapeutic injections when indicated. He is trained in concussion diagnosis and management and feels strongly about the proper handling of concussions in children and adolescents.Dr. Michael encourages healthy living through an active lifestyle.

A Colorado native, Dr. Star Fowler graduated from the Colorado College in Colorado Springs with a bachelors degree in biology. During her time at Colorado College, she remained on the deans list for academic achievement. Dr. Fowler earned her Doctorate of Osteopathy from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She remained in the beautiful southwest at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque to complete her residency in internal medicine.Dr. Fowlers clinical interests include: cardiovascular disease, complex medical conditions, diabetes, geriatrics, and preventive health through exercise, nutrition, and weight management. Dr. Fowler is a strong advocate for prevention as the best form of medicine.When she is not delving into the engrossing world of medicine, Dr. Fowler relishes spending time with her family, enjoying the awesome outdoors in Colorado, and expanding her culinary skills.

Dr. Rafael Olivares is board-certified in family practice with 24 years of direct patient care experience. Dr. Olivares graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from The City College of New York, and he graduated with his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Olivares also completed his internship in family practice at Eastern Virginia Medical School.Dr. Olivares strongly believes in treating the whole patient. He focuses on preventative medicine, healthy eating and exercise. When available, Dr. Olivares leans towards natural remedies to care for his patients health.Dr. Olivares practices all family medicine including minor skin surgeries, injections and simple orthopedic procedures. He is also passionate about using his talents in health care as a volunteer, having done so with the Bolivia/Colorado Medical Exchange Program, Healing the Children, HealthRight International, and more. Dr. Olivares is fluent in both English and Spanish.When Dr. Olivares is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his immediate and extended family, dancing tango, swimming, hiking, traveling, and gardening.
