I started in 2003 after i finish my braiding school back in 2001 i gave myself some few years working in different shops from denver to atlanta, Chicago to vegas just to learn more and more. After that i gave birth to this business that is call now sophie's african hair braiding and beauty supply.the first name of my shop was called la joi hair braiding with mean the joy. I just called and this chick said she charges $175 for medium (shoulder length) box braids.... thank you but no thank you. I can fly to NYC round trip and get my hair braided for that cost.......
