Sonshine Center is an outreach ministry that provides a day care program for the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of children. It offers summer fun program that include various activities, such as Independence Day celebration, picnic outings, gym and water days, field trips and pizza parties. The center organizes trips to various places that include the Plains Conservation Center, Lookout Mountain Nature Center and the Lakeside Amusement Park. It also offers a variety of classroom activities, including arts and crafts, blocks, puzzles, listening skills, Bible teachings, stories and fun dances. In addition, the center offers summer tots program that provides basic computer knowledge to children. Sonshine Center, established in 1994, is located in Arvada, Colo.
