Great chow. My son and I had brisket and wife had chicken breast and it was wonderful. We ordered ala carte meats and had Cole slaw and beans as our complements. We will most certainly come again.

History
Back in 1985, owner Scott Krug and owner/pitmaster Steve Martin met while working construction in the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake, TX area. Both eventually moved to Grand Junction, CO, without the other knowing, then reconnected in 2002 when their kids became high school friends. Fast forward to 2018- After many years of discussing the lack of authentic Texas BBQ on the western slope, and Steve winning a number of local awards for his ribs, Snooks was born. We love having folks who hail from the South (especially Texas!) giving our Barbecue a taste. We are so happy to introduce true Texas style BBQ to the residents and tourists of Western Colorado.

I was up visiting from the South and this was the best meal I had the whole time in Grand Junction! The brisket is so tender that it just melted in my mouth. I had to try a few times to get there...

Perfectly smoked, I got the baby back ribs, pulled pork & brisket this time. Melts in your mouth. The ribs slid right off the bone. I also got 1/2 rack of baby back ribs- sorry no photo because...

Fabulous brisket; succulent meat complete with a tasty original sauce! It's truly the best in town. The server was kind and cheerful! We will be back!

Outstanding Texas BBQ tucked away in Grand Junction, CO. If you find yourself here needing some Texas BBQ this is the place! Great service with Texas hospitality!
