The Slackwater is a 10-unit lodging property just outside of Buena Vista in central Colorado. Our recently upgraded motel blends rustic with mountain modern and is situated on the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, Colorado. You can’t beat our location: We are 3 hours from Denver via US- Hwy 285 S, 2 hours from Colorado Springs via US-24W, 35 minutes from Cottonwood Pass, 6 minutes to downtown Buena Vista, 15 minutes to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, and 26 minutes to downtown Salida.
