Public health nurses provide a variety of services including immunizations, preventive assessments of children and the elderly and a full range of services designed to assist individuals and groups to attain and maintain good health and to cope with illnesses.

The Pueblo County Sheriff s Office believes in a community-oriented policing philosophy and provides around-the-clock patrol services to all Pueblo County, Colo., communities. Law enforcement handles a variety of specialized programs, such as crime prevention, drug abuse resistance education, the school resource officer program, a community organization for victim assistance, K-9 unit and the bicycle patrol unit. It carries out these services through its four divisions that include patrol, investigations, high-tech crimes and services for the Colorado State University-Pueblo. The Pueblo County Sheriff s Office maintains its headquarters in Pueblo.
