The Route 40 cafe pays homage to the roadside diners and cafes that once flourished along America's highways and bi-ways; a modern roadside cafe serving elevated versions of the food America loves to eat. The restaurant serves as a rotating installation of the Colfax History Museum, so guests can dine and discover the rich history of "America's Longest, Wickedest Street." The menu features classic American burgers, deli sandwiches, and upscale versions of diner mainstays like "Breakfast all Day" and daily "Blue Plate Specials". Modern sodas, milkshakes, local craft beers, and creative twists on classic cocktails are available at the bar. We offer Free Parking behind the Tattered Cover, an expansive outdoor patio and a selection of grab-n-go food for the road or the picnic basket.
