Upon arrival, I was really concerned what I got myself into. The front of this so-called hotel is really ran down. No one is around. Everything is done remotely out of Texas, they open the doors...

I'm not sure where to begin. I guess the glowing statement is "I've seen worse". We stayed in the motel, the rooms are very small. It was not very clean, bugs and crumbs/dirt on the upper bunk....

Very pleasant stay a bit off the beaten path! We stayed in the RV, ate at the cafe and chatted with folks from all over! Right on the river - so relaxing!

This is a nice spot on the Arkansas River. The prices are very reasonable compared to every other campground in the area. It's only a short drive along the river to Salida. The owner is...
