Rocky Mountain Eye Center, serving Southern Colorado for 32 years, has officially closed its doors as of July 31, 2024. The center expressed gratitude for the trust and support it received from the community throughout its years of operation.

Several of the center's doctors will continue to provide vision care in the area, with Dr. Blom Rastrelli and Dr. Stevens joining Skyline Vision, Dr. Butikofer moving to Eye Associates of Pueblo, and Dr. Smith starting a new practice called Clear View Vision Center. Patients are encouraged to choose their future providers, with options available for medical record transfers.
