Riverside Middle School

Riverside Middle School offers several academic and extracurricular activities to students in grades five through eight. The school provides classes in history, math, science and language arts. Riverside Middle School also offers sports activities that include basketball, baseball, and track and field. In addition, the school administers the Gifted and Talented Education program (G.A.T.E.), which includes enrichment activities for high-performance students. It organizes field trips to science centers and historic locations. The school additionally offers after-school care programs to students. Riverside Middle School is located in New Castle, Colo. The school is a part of Garfield Re-2, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
