Rio Grande County Museum

The Museum offers a look into history of the Native Americans, fur trappers, Mexican land grants, settlers from NM, gold seekers, ranchers and merchants who came for land, freedom and a better way of life. View exhibits of Native American Rock Art, Fremont's Expedition, and the, "Los Primeros Pobladores" exhibit that takes the Old Spanish Trail from a trail to permanent plazas and settlements.
