Child Development Center has been offering pediatric rehabilitation services to the Pikes Peak region in Colorado since 1988. The center offers services for various disorders, such as learning problems, speech difficulties, fine and gross motor problems, sports injuries, sensory integration dysfunction and auditory processing challenges. Physical, occupational and speech and language therapies are all available at the center, and children requiring comprehensive services can receive all disciplines in one setting. It additionally offers various special programs, such as oral motor and feeding, auditory communication, brain and sensory integration, fine motor and phonemic awareness and concepts therapies. The center specializes in the treatment of cerebral palsy, muscle disease, Down syndrome, spinal defects, scoliosis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, brain injuries, visual and perceptual deficits, torticollis and brachial plexus injuries. At Physical Medicine of the Rockies, our board-certified physicians diagnose, treat, and consult on various disorders and conditions pertaining to the musculoskeletal system. Common diagnostic services such as ultrasound, EMG/NVC, and functional outcomes data are utilized to treat the patient and monitor progress of healing and recovery.
