Widian Jubair, MD, strives to provide team-based, patient-centered care that treats the whole person body, mind, and spirit. Dr. Jubair's mission is to help her patients stay as healthy as possible, which she believes is best accomplished when there is a partnership between the patient and the provider. She accomplishes this by listening closely to her patients' needs and empowering them with information that helps them reach their health and wellness goals. Dr. Jubair considers it a privilege to get to know her patients as individuals. She believes that prevention is half the treatment and encourages patients to make healthy lifestyle choices to prevent future illness and improve their quality of life. Dr. Jubair treats various conditions from infections to hypertension and osteoporosis to chronic lung diseases. She performs many in-office procedures like skin biopsies and joint injections.Dr. Jubair received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Anbar in Iraq. She then earned her Master of Biological Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado and completed her postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Colorado. At Parkview Health System in Pueblo, Colorado, Dr. Jubair completed her residency in Internal Medicine and an externship in Internal Medicine from St. Joseph Hospital.In her free time, Dr. Jubair enjoys the outdoors hiking, biking, and gardening. She also loves to cook and knit.
