Beautiful park! Love the bike trails and park for kiddos. They could use a mini park for the 1 year olds... hopefully an update soon in the future. Otherwise great place for picnics and outdoor fun!

Entrance to the park is on 44th Avenue and was originally the Prospect Trail to the gold fields of 1859. 44th Avenue was first Prospect Avenue in 1900. This is also the site of Berbert House where some Wheat Ridge Community Sports groups operate out of today.

Prospect Park is a community park in the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado located along the Clear Creek Trail. Open Space, Tabor Lake and West Lake are located near the park. Amenities include baseball/softball fields, a football field, concessions, basketball court, large reservable pavilion with picnic tables, BBQ, playground, horseshoes, trail head, fishing and restrooms.
