The trailhead was completed in 2010 and includes enhanced vehicular access from Parker Road plus parking for cars and school buses. A concrete trail connect from the trailhead to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail was completed in late 2011. Preservation Park, located just north of the trailhead, will serve as an interpretive and educational resource devoted to local history and include both historic structures and artifacts. Two structures were recently relocated to the site and subsequently restored. Future plans include construction of a picnic shelter and rest area plus the relocation and restoration of several more historical structures.
Reviews
Good path and place to get some exercise. My wife and daughter enjoyed the open space and the trail.
