Polton Community Elementary School

Trails West Elementary School has been operational for more than 15 years and enrolls students in grades one through five. It offers vocal music instruction, physical education, visual art, technology, supplemental instrumental music and choir and athletic intramural programs. The school also provides a range of extracurricular activities, such as Destination Imagination, accelerated math, spelling bees, chess club, sport stacking, student government and Math Olympiad. In addition, it offers a kindergarten enrichment program that promotes development and learning by providing additional sessions of development activities. Trails West Elementary School is located in Centennial, Colo., and is a part of the Cherry Creek School District.

T. H. Pickens Technical Center, located in Aurora, Colo., is an area vocational school offering technical training programs to adults and high school students. The institution offers nearly 50 certificate programs ranging from cosmetology to welding. It provides students with the skills, knowledge and work habits to help them succeed in the work force. It offers a number of courses from the areas of human services, engineering and technology, construction and development, automotive technologies and business technologies. T. H. Pickens Technical Center also offers courses in the areas of arts, media and communication, health, environment, agriculture, natural resources and high school courses.
