We, the people of Pax Christi, dedicate ourselves to living in community as committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Founded on a vision of hope, we recognize that the Gospel of Jesus challenges and often contradicts the voice of our culture. Fully aware of the sacrifices that it demands, we accept our responsibility to respond to the call of the Gospel in prayer, work and action. We surrender our own will to the truth of the Gospel, and support one another in love on our common journey. It is through the people of God that the world comes to know God. Our mission, therefore, is to make God's presence visible by ministering to our families and our community, which includes the poor and those not welcomed by our society to be good stewards of the many gifts that God entrusts to us.
