The National Museum of World War II Aviation, opened to the public in 2012, showcases the critical role military aviation played in establishing the United States as a world power. With a collection of 28 fully restored flying aircraft and over 4,000 artifacts, the museum highlights the technological advancements and sacrifices made during this pivotal period in American history.
This nonprofit organization relies on the support of the community to honor the contributions of America's Greatest Generation and preserve the inspiring story of World War II aviation for future generations. In addition to its aircraft, the museum features operational vehicles used by U.S. forces and their allies during the war, further enriching the visitor experience.
