Mountain Man Rafting was established in 1985 as Mountain Man Tours, Inc the first Colorado rafting outfitter and guide service on the Upper Rio Grande near Creede, South Fork and Lake City, Colorado. In 2022, Narrow Ridge, LLC purchased Mountain Man expanding its services to include guided rock and ice climbing, hiking, kayaking, and more. It is still the ONLY guided rafting company on the Rio offering trips on the upper sections including near Creede and through the Wagon Wheel Gap.
