The Greater Brighton Fire Protection District works to protect the lives and properties of the people of Brighton, Wattenburg and Henderson, Colo. It operates more than five fire stations. The district s fire and life safety division provides new construction and remodel plans review, systems inspections and testing and annual code enforcement inspection services. The Greater Brighton Fire Protection District offers public education and community programs on fire safety and investigations. Its staff includes fire protection engineers, hazardous materials technicians, plans reviewers, fire investigators, safety educators and child car seat technicians. The Greater Brighton Fire Protection District s fire prevention division maintains a fleet of engines, tankers and rescue vans.
