Monterrey Elementary

Monterey Community School provides learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, reading, writing and math. The school organizes a range of activities, such as puppet shows, theater, speech and debate, poetry, authors nights and journalism clubs. Located in Denver, Monterey Community School is governed by Mapleton Public Schools, which features elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1903, the district provides educational programs to more than 5,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its schools academic curricula include communications, mathematics, science, art and social studies. The district also features an alumni association for former classmates.
