Misk'i Wasi is a local artisan sausage delivery service and a family business bringing local ingredients and unique recipes to multiple Denver neighborhoods, out of Lakewood CO. Our 24+ years of culinary and business experience can be savored in our innovative and flavorful sausages. We'll make your special occasion an unforgettable experience. Sausage maker, Javier, borrowed the name from his wife, Kareen, a professional baker who had planned to use it for her pastry-bakery business. The name Misk'i Wasi comes from Quechua, the language of the ancient Inca Culture, and it means 'homemade sweet' or 'dessert.' The project never came to be, but the interesting name stuck. Using it for Javier's idea, now, was the perfect way to keep Kareen's project alive and honor their family's Peruvian roots.
