Service is 5-star and the restaurant is clean. Food is 3-4 star though... - Definitely ask the waiter to bring HOT CHIPS. They taste sweeter and complement the spectacular house-made salsa well....

Los Portales Mexican Restaurant was founded in April of 2006 by Jose and Claudia Ursua. Jose and Claudia met over 24 years ago while working together at a Mexican restaurant, fell in love, and soon married. Both Jose and Claudia shared a dream of owning their own business, and after many years of hard work, dedication, and help from Claudia’s siblings, that dream came true. By combining their love of Mexican food and culture, Los Portales Mexican Restaurant was born.

1 star If I could give zero stars, I would. We were served rice with a dead fly in it. When we pointed it out to the server, she looked us dead in the eye and said, "That's not for the kitchen."...

Service was great was greeted and seated right away he sever asked us multiple times if we needed anything during our meal we did go during lunch the ambiance of this restaurant are great cute...

I wish the green chili had more flavor. Breakfast burrito had some solid ingredients. Service was really good. The meal was lackluster.
