Lisa A. Perryman, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is the founder and president of Colorado Colon & Rectal Specialists in the Denver metropolitan area ofColorado. Dr. Perryman is board certified in colon and rectal surgery and is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She provides one of the best comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer, and for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, such as: hemorrhoids, anal fistulas and abscesses, anal itching, pilonidal cysts, anal skin tags, and rectal bleeding and pain.Prior to founding Colorado Colon & Rectal Specialists, our very own proctologist, Dr. Perryman, served as the chief of general surgery at a Salt Lake City, Utah, hospital. She went on to complete a seven-year residency in general surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis before finishing her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.Dr. Perryman makes herself available to patients 24/7, 365 days a year.
