Lincoln Academy Charter School

Lincoln Academy, founded in 1997, is a charter school that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. It conducts classes in art, music, and physical and technology education. The school offers group instruction, Core Knowledge Sequence, Saxon Math, homework assistance and phonics-based reading programs. It also provides special education programs and conducts enrichment classes. In addition, Lincoln Academy runs the English as a Second Language program for students with limited English proficiency. The school s campus includes a computer laboratory, library and gymnasium. It also operates the Core Knowledge Preschool for children between the ages of 4 and 5. Lincoln Academy is located in Arvada, Colo.
