The Emporium of Design was opened on East Colfax by my father Paul Ullerich and Sugar Bear in 1978, with rents at an all time high and so many tattoo shops springing up I merged the two shops into one.

Kool kats/Emporium of Design is a small private shop in a semi industrial neighborhood, that allows us to spend more time with our clients, specializing in all forms of tattooing, cover ups, touch ups re work, traditional, custom, we do what others will not attempt.
