I began practicing in 1995 in the Boulder area and also practiced in the Denver area. I worked at an integrative medincine clinic for 4 years where traditional western medincine and alternative medicines were combined called Healthmark. Later in 1999 I joined forces with a Naturopath and we created a multidiciplined health center called Highlands Health and Healing which combined Naturopathic Medicine, Japnanese acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine as well as psychotherapy, massage and Feldencrais. 4 years ago I moved to my current location at 44th and Tennyson and continue to practice family pracitice in the Highlands.
I practice a gentle style of Japanese Acupuncture, Acutonics and Chinese Herbal Medicine. The Japanese Acupuncture techniques are designed to bring balance to the body by bringing the bodies energy pathways into balance with each other, which triggers the bodies own healing abilities. Acutonics is the pracitice of using tuning forks of various tones which are used on the acupuncture meridian system for the purpose of supporting the bodies ability to heal on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Chinese herbal medicinals are recommended and dispensed for a vast majority of complaints. For example there are many antivirals in Traditional Chinese Medicine which very effectively eliminate without side-effect colds, flus, coughs and help prevent secondary infections such as bronchitis and sinus infections.
