Very poorly run and organized in my opinion. Music was great so that's a positive. Venue is beautiful but poorly set up to maximize viewing and the large audience.
We went to this festival excited to see Brandi Carlile. Of course Aspen Snowmass is a beautiful setting but it is not a venue for a concert; it's flat field and you have to stand the entire time...
To be fair, I'm comparing my experience at Jazz at Aspen to Telluride Bluegrass,which I prefer by a wide margin. Some Pros: -4 hours from Denver (versus 6 to Telluride) -Tickets are Reasonable...
