Founded in 1990, Jade Communications began as a cable television provider, providing DirecTV and other television services to the residents of the San Luis Valley. Seeing the need to provide Internet to residents living in rural areas, we began offering satellite Internet in 2000. Shortly thereafter, in 2003, we started our hallmark service, the Canopy Wireless Internet. Since its inauguration, we have expanded our network, constructing a total of 18 service towers, serving a total of 25 communities, and covering a total of 4157 square miles in Southern Colorado.
