History

Islamic Center of Golden was founded in 1992 when a group of students and community Muslims felt the need to establish an Islamic place of congregational prayer (also known as a Masjid). Over the course of the years, the center expanded and served the growing community members. Due to it's close proximity to Colorado School of Mines, the Islamic Center has a large attendance of from Muslim international students pursing higher educations.

Specialties

Islamic Center of Golden (ICG) is a non-profit organization with an operational philosophy based on the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
