Hunters Moon Meadery MEAD TASTINGS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, as the Meadery is in a building behind our Home. (HOA Rules) We make Mead/Honey Wine with honey from our 50+ honeybee hives. We make Meads with such natural ingredients as Wild Rocky Mountain Huckleberries Colorado Peaches, Colorado wild plums,pineapple, blueberries, organic lemons and different spices such as whole cloves, saffron, ginger, tea and coffee. We have 43 International awards with our meads! We have a maximum capacity of 14 people for the Tours. During the Tour if the weather permits and if you request it upon booking, you can actually go out back and see some working beehives. We sometimes have our own honey to sell and a Varietal Honey Tasting is included with the Mead Tastings. We have a passion for "the oldest known alcoholic beverage" and honey & bees that we like to share with others! NO HOURS, ONLY BY APPOINTMENT.
