Fly Fish Glenwood is permitted on over 100 miles of the Colorado river. The Colorado is one the biggest rivers in the west, full of unlimited possibility. Every cast is an opportunity to catch rainbow or brown trout in the 16-24 inch range. The rainbow trout on the Colorado river are unique in their football shape, these fish are tall, girthy and fierce. We also catch white fish, pike-minnows, flannel mouth suckers and bony-tail chubs. The diversity of fish and scenery are amazing. We float through historic ranch land in expansive valleys, deep canyons and mountains. We are one of the only outfitters to guide in the coveted Glenwood Canyon. The canyon is the most spectacular stretch of the Colorado River with walls over 2000 feet towering over the river. Luckily, the Colorado River is one of the most over-looked fisheries, and we generally have this immense river to ourselves.
