High Altitude Martial Arts specializes in teaching self-defensive techniques. Based in Aurora, Colo., it conducts a variety of classes geared for people wanting to learn self defense, participate in a competition and to get in shape. The center conducts classes for men, women as well as children. It also provides training for world champions in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and wrestling. High Altitude Martial Arts facility includes spring loaded tatami mats and hanging heavy bags, a 20-foot-ring and Olympic weights with other strength equipment.
