This place changes lives. My mom works here as a teacher for the upper grade levels. She absolutely loves it. The principle is incredible. Really cares about the students on a different level...

Havern School, founded in 1966, is a private nonprofit institute that provides a specialized education program for elementary and middle school students with diagnostic learning disabilities in Denver. The school offers instruction in language arts, art, drama, social skills, technology and mathematics. It provides options to participate in field trips and special presentations. Havern School also manages skiing, soccer and after-school variety clubs. The school organizes a variety of activities in choir and basketball. In addition, its campus features a playground, computer laboratory, library, gymnasium and climbing wall. Havern School provides speech and occupational therapies, well as guidance counseling services.

Do not send your child here! The school and staff are pretty on the outside, but are rotten on the inside. They say all the right things, but what teaching goes on is something else. I watched...

i went to this school for one year and that's all i could take. the teachers and head master were very rude and mean. they yell at the students and a bully them. they seem very nice at first then...
