Harlan Bakeries, established in 1991, produces Harlan Bigger Better Bagels and Harlan Giant Gourmet Bagels brands and private-label bagels. It also manufactures bagel chips, health bars, cakes, angel food cake, cookies, frozen raw dough, pies, meringue pies and cream pies. Harlan s products are found in many frozen food sections at grocery stores throughout the Midwest. The company operates four production facilities, including its office in Avon, Ind. Other plants are located in Indianapolis, Denver and Nova Scotia, Canada. The Harlan Bakeries plant in Denver is a bagel production facility.
