History

I started my training in a high end salon, on the west end of the pearl street mall. I was an assistant to a Master Colorist, Hair Styling expert from NY. Everyone in the salon had over 10 years experience, and I was lucky to learn from such an experienced group of stylists. I furthered my education, obtained an MA in Counseling, Education and Psychology, as well as furthered my training in San Diego in Color, Highlights, and Keratin, Smoothing Treatments. I moved my business from Encinitas, California in 2014, to Colorado. I continually take color classes.

Specialties

Kathleen Scaer, owner of The Organic Hair Studio; is a Master Hairstylist, Hair Color Specialist and Keratin, Smoothing and Straightening Expert. Aloxxi, Goldwell, Redken and Deep conditioning Claypac are some of the expertly designed products I use for a fantastic, finished look. Highlights with Goldwell are always shiney and well conditioned. Non-toxic shine is also used for those wo are into the glossy, healthy and non-ammonia Hair color. I work in Simply Beauty hair Designs; in a professional, fun and clean Hair Salon. I am passionate about education, and the use of professional products at home. My clients love my work, and appreciate the 28 years of experience I have. I was trained in Colorado, and received further training in California.
