Jay maintains an electric presence in whatever setting he finds himself in. Jay began playing drums when he was fifteen years old when long time friend 'Schmed' simply asked him to do it. He had no intention of ever playing the drums, but when his father insisted he would pay for the lessons if he committed, Jay felt compelled. He spent four years learning under David Jennings in suburban Chicago. Soon after this he formed the band 3crease with 'Schmed' and mutual friend 'Cheech' to soon take over the small town of Oswego, IL. They headlined the town's battle of the bands three summers in a row and have now become the stuff of local legend. His next group was called A.P. or Absolutely Perfect with the ideology that 'Perfection' was truly in the eye of the beholder and that you yourself, were in fact - Perfect. The band toured extensively through out the Midwest aSpecialtiesJay on the Drums specializes in creating a live drum soundtrack for Yoga classes and adding live percussion to Aerobic classes like Zumba and NIA. He is also available for hire to accompany DJ's in the nightclub and private event scene.
