History

So just for a little background, Fred has been in the business for over 35 years. He wasn't always an owner. Believe it or not, he started just as a dishwasher for years. It was only after the cook called in sick that he was thrusted into cooking that night and fell in love with it. Shortly after that, he started as a lead cook at Yankee Dollar in Downtown Denver. He was there just shy of 10 years before he ventured out to open his own restaurant in 1995. It was a little restaurant called La Fuente in Commerce City. In 2008, he moved it to Denver in 2008. There he won a few awards for Westwards Best breakfast burritos in Oct 2011 and August 2014. He also featured in Best of at foursquare.com. He is very passionate about making good food. If you come and try the food you will not be disappointed.
